• A 1L tin will cover approximately 13m² per coat
• A 2.5L tin will cover approximately 32.5m² per coat
• A 5L tin will cover approximately 65m² per coat

Surface Preparation

• Ensure all MDF surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or contaminants
• Lightly sand new MDF to create a good key
• Remove any loose or flaking material
• Ensure surface and air temperature is above 7°C

Application

• Mix well before use
• Apply using a brush or roller
• Apply directly to MDF
• Apply 1–2 coats as required, depending on surface porosity
• Allow 6 hours between coats at 20°C

Drying & Curing

• Touch dry: approximately 30 minutes at 20°C
• Recoat: 6 hours at 20°C
• Full cure / hardness achieved after 5–7 days

Pro Tip – MDF Edges

• MDF edges are highly absorbent and may feel rough after the first coat
• For a smoother finish:
• Apply a coat of primer to seal the edges
• Allow to dry, then lightly sand smooth
• Repeat the process if required
• The more seal–sand cycles applied, the smoother and more refined the MDF edge will become
